Homeboy Sandman – Life Support [Official Music Video]

Homeboy Sandman connected to the world in his video for Life Support, as he takes viewers on an erratic yet insanely relatable trip through the mind of an empathetic introvert who is gravely trying to navigate their way trough life. Although the subject matter in the verses can appear somewhat grim at times, Sandman is depicted as the epitome of the carefree black man in this video, rapping his flaws into acceptance as the waves rise and the flowers bloom all along his poetic soul. Honesty flows with every bars, with lines like “I think my motivation is broads/I used to tell myself that it was saving the world”, that show he is one artist who can bare it all and still have it come off dope for listeners. “If I stop making art than I’ll die” is a damning statement, for it shows that music isn’t simply a passion for Sandman; it’s his entire life and what keeps him spitting such virtuous flows.
