The Jimi Hendrix Experience: 12min 15sec set
Untethered. I still find it hard to believe that Jimi was anything less than immortal when it comes to the timelessness of his music. This footage depicts Jimi in his most vulnerable state on stage; being able to feel what he needs to in order to play how he does. Around 4 minutes in you can see the expressions on his face. It’s clear that the chemistry between him and his guitar could not be broken.
I’ve always been jealous of how effortless he made playing the guitar look. Just look at the easy motions of his fingertips, it would be fair to say he was indeed born for this. And his clear vocals create memorable sound waves throughout any audio format. The band does an immaculate job aiding in creating what is known as the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Mitch Mitchell went absolutely ecstatic around 9 minutes in, as if comfortability was reached and it was time to demonstrate what a real climax was. Overall, this performance of Red House is a classic. I implore any true fans of Jimi Hendrix to peep this
